Miss Jeffery & Mr Thomas/Swans

Welcome to the Swans!

Photos from our fantastic trip to the National Civil War Centre and our visit to The River Trent and Newark lock. The children had an amazing day finished with an Icelolly.

Wonderful World of Water Tour!

Today, Philip Pierce from Severn Trent, took Year 5 and 6 on fantastic Journey about how water was used from the Stone age to Present day. He taught us all about how much water is used to produce everyday things, from an apple to a car.

We also learned about the water cycle and how our water is filtered and reused. The children all enjoyed the interactive quizzes. We look forward to April, when Philip returns and we will be completing lots of hands on water activities!
