At The King’s Academy, respect is at the heart of all our relationships and interactions. Our single school rule — “Be kind, polite and respectful” — is embraced by children and adults alike. We value learning side by side because being together helps us grow, understand one another, and build a strong, supportive community.

We recognise that everyone makes mistakes from time to time. When this happens, we focus on learning from them so that we can truly Live Well Together. This motto reflects our belief that we are stronger when united and when we celebrate the wonderful diversity within our school. We are incredibly proud of every one of our children; each plays a unique and important role in making our school such a happy place.

Our behaviour approach is rooted in positive reinforcement. Through thoughtful, encouraging language, adults guide children to make responsible and considerate choices. As a result, we enjoy a warm, positive learning environment where both children and adults thrive together.
