
We are named after Floella Benjamin as she is an inspirational person who is a champion for diversity and equality.
Floella Benjamin is now a Dame because she has fought for the rights of children all of her adult life. She is quoted as saying children need to be shown,
She is a perfect role model to help our children to understand that nothing can stop you from achieving you goals and dreams and reflects our mission statement to, 'Grow confident and aspirational children who believe in themselves and contribute positively to their community and the wider world'.
