The William Gladstone Academy Years 3/4 football team, took part in a festival of football here at William Gladstone. They played really well and was a credit to the school.
Year 3/4 Football Team
The football team took part in a tournament at the Nigel Doughty Academy ground at Nottingham. After a short training session with Mr Ridyard we had our first game, winning 2-1. This followed with another win and 2 losses. As we finished 2nd in our group, unfortunately this meant that we didn't go through to the semi-finals. Forest footballers Matty Cash and Ben Osborn and had our photograph taken with defender Tendayi Darikwa. We all had a great afternoon.'
14 children from Year 4 visited the Multi Faith Roadshow at Southwell Minster on Wednesday March 20th. Many different religions were represented and the children took part in a carousel of activities, listening to different speakers, answering questions and even dressing up in traditional religious costumes. The children found out information about: Islam, Judaism, Humanism, Buddhism and Bahá'í The children were complemented on their good behaviour and were a credit to the school.
