School Meals

Spring Summer Menu 2024

Changes to Eligibility for FSM, Early Years Pupil Premium and Free Early Education

If your child is in Foundation 2 ,Year 1 or Year 2 they will automatically get Free School Meals

However, it is IMPORTANT

that you still register for Free school Meals if you think you are entitled as we then receive extra money into school  that we can use for your child.

You are now able to register and apply for free school meals online. You will get an instant

decision and an email to confirm this.

1. Put in your details

2. You will be sent an email to confirm you have registered

3. Click on the link you are sent in the email

4. Login to the site with your email and password and follow the instructions


Free school meals

You may qualify for free school meals if your child attends a Nottinghamshire County

Council School or your child attends a maintained nursery (as long as they are receiving

funded early learning education before and after lunch) and you receive one of the following



 Child Tax Credit, provided they are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual

        income (as assessed by Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC)) that does not exceed       £16,190

 Income Support

 Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA)

 Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

 Income-based and Contributions-based JSA and ESA on an equal basis

 Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

 The Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

 Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for four weeks after the person stops

        qualifying for Working Tax Credit

 Universal Credit – during the initial roll-out of the benefit
