Regretfully, we have to close the school on 01/03/18 as the unpredictable icy weather and further forecast of snow mean that both the school site and conditions travelling to school for children, parents and staff who live outside the area are not safe.
While the staff will be busy working behind the scenes, we hope that the children enjoy the chance to enjoy themselves in the great outdoors!
Making the decision is never easy, we understand the impact on families that have to work and those who have prior commitments, however we have a duty of care to all members of our school and only close when necessary. Thank you for your continued understanding.
WORLD BOOK DAY 2018
This year, World Book Day is on Thursday 1st March and we have arranged a visit by Author, Tony Frais. Tony has written three children's books: Noah's Rocket, Stanley's Space Adventure and Stanley Saves the Amazon Rainforest.
All children will have the opportunity to spend time with him during the morning.
Please note: This is a normal school uniform day (we are NOT dressing up this year as we want to focus on books rather than costumes).
Thank you for your continued support.
